Makal is a lifelong native of Chattanooga and has been part of the Waypoint family since 2024. He became a follower of Christ in middle school and loves being a support and loyal brother in Christ to everyone he knows! He attended UTC and is an avid league bowler who competes against the best with his twin brother.

In addition to helping Waypoint with social media posts and event planning, he is a proud dad to his two cats, Coco and Chanel and can either be found at home gardening or playing video games with friends.
